Woodchester Storybook Trail

Storybook Trail – “Lucky the Maple Key” is an interactive outdoor reading experience located in the parkland surrounding Woodchester in Bracebridge. Winding through scenic forest paths, the trail features a charming locally inspired story about a maple key’s journey through the woods, written by local author Sue Kelly and illustrated by Ronnie Szostak. Created as part of Bracebridge’s 150th anniversary legacy projects and installed in 2025, the Storybook Trail offers families and visitors a unique way to explore nature while enjoying a distinctly local story.
