Heritage Walking Trail
Bracebridge Heritage Walking Trail is a self-guided walking route that takes visitors through downtown Bracebridge and along the Muskoka River, highlighting historic sites, monuments, and stories that have shaped the community. Featuring 12 interpretive signs, the trail connects key landmarks including waterfront parks, downtown streets, and the historic Woodchester site with its scenic observation deck. First introduced in the 1980s and recently revitalized in 2025, the trail offers a meaningful way to explore Bracebridge’s heritage while enjoying its natural and urban landscapes.
